During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Switzerland showcased varied trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a noticeable rise in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 7.5K in early July and peaking at nearly 12K by the end of September. The number of weekly active users also increased steadily from around 292K to over 308K by the quarter's end.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with about 7.8K, then peaking at over 9.6K in mid-July, before settling around 7.3K by the end of September. The active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 24.8K and 27.5K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained a consistent download rate, with figures hovering around 1K weekly. Active users showed a slight uptick from 12.5K to over 13.2K towards the end of September.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus downloads began at 857, peaking at over 1.1K in July, before descending to 661 by September's close. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 3.9K and declining to 3.3K by the quarter's end.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a varied download pattern, beginning at 630 and peaking at 875 in mid-July, then stabilizing around 608 at the end of September. Active users ranged from 2K to a high of 2.4K within the quarter.
